I’m a Minnesota girl that grew up camping all over the United States in a pop-up trailer towed behind the family van, and fishing with Grandpa on summer weekends spent at nearby lakes. I became a state and national park junkie at a young age and have never lost the passion for being outdoors. My husband, Stephen, and I spend all our spare time playing outside, and increasingly that means fly fishing. We came to Tenkara because we are backpackers, but we stay with it because we love its simplicity and beauty. Now that we live in Montrose, Colorado we have abundant amazing places to take our rods out for an afternoon or a multi-day adventure. But this isn’t just about fishing.
We travel and wander.
We believe in living our life now.
We advocate for protecting public lands.
And I love to tell our tales.
I’d love to have you follow me on Instagram

I look forward to sharing adventures with y’all!
